Insulated shoes: As the most common type of labor insurance shoes, it is to insulate the human body from the ground and prevent current from forming a path between the human body and the earth to prevent too much damage to the human body. Proper use not only extends the life of the shoe, but also protects the human body to the greatest extent possible.
Insulated shoe structure: There should be no metal hooks and other parts on the sole and heel. The anti-smashing type of insulated inner insole head should be surface-insulated when it is made of metal material, and it cannot be moved in conjunction with the shoe when making shoes.
In today's life, the contact and application of electricity is more and more extensive. Except for power stations, power plants and power supply departments, most industries have workers with live operation. The human body is a poor conductor, and the electrical conductivity and electrical resistance of different parts and organs are different. At this point, we need insulated shoes to protect our employees, so that people's feet are insulated from charged objects to prevent electric shock. All kinds of insulated shoes should meet the "General Technical Conditions for Electrically Insulated Shoes".
Insulated shoes logo:
a) There should be a standard number, electrical insulation type (or English EH), lightning mark and withstand voltage value on the upper or sole of each pair of shoes;
b) Manufacturer's name, shoe name, product or brand name, date of manufacture, and electrical insulation performance.
Insulated shoe packaging:
a) Each pair of shoes should be packed in paper, plastic or carton. The following contents should be found on the bag: product name (example: 6 kV cow leather face insulation shoes, 5 kV insulation cloth shoes, 20 kV insulation rubber boots, etc.), standard number, manufacturer name, shoe number, trademark, instructions for use.
b) Cardboard box for large packaging, the sealing should be firm, the box should be tightly bound, and the following contents should be on the surface: standard number, manufacturer name and address, zip code, product name, product specification, quantity, trademark, production year and month, Box number, size and volume (or weight).
Insulating shoe transport: Coverage must be provided during transportation to prevent rain, and should not be placed together with acid or alkali or other corrosive materials.
Storage of insulated shoes: should be placed in a dry and ventilated warehouse to prevent mildew. Stacked off the ground and walls more than 20cm, leaving all heating elements 1 m away. Avoid being affected by oil, acids and alkalis or other corrosives.
The service life of insulated shoes: generally 24 months (calculated from the date of production), products with more than 24 months must be subjected to electrical performance preventive inspection. Only shoes that meet the standard requirements can be sold or used.
The use of insulated shoes should comply with the following regulations:
a) Check the withstand voltage values indicated on the upper or sole before using insulated shoes. Electrically insulated leather shoes and electric insulation cloth shoes with a withstand voltage of 15 kV or less are suitable for power frequency voltages below 1 LV; insulated shoes on cloth surface can only be used in dry environment, and should avoid moisture on the cloth surface; voltage withstand voltage above 15 kV Electric insulating rubber boots and polymeric material boots are suitable for working environments with power frequency voltages above 1 kV. When in use, the regulations for electrical safety work procedures (DL408 and DL409) must be strictly observed.
b) In the environment with electric shock hazard, wear insulated shoes. When using electric insulating shoes and electric insulating cloth shoes, the working environment should keep the upper dry.
c) Wear any electrically insulated shoes to avoid contact with sharps, high temperature and corrosive substances, to prevent the shoes from being damaged and affecting electrical performance. Where there is corrosion or damage to the bottom, it can no longer be worn with electrically insulated shoes.
d) Insulating shoes with preventive inspection shall meet the specified requirements, and the validity period of each preventive test shall not exceed 6 months.
