Synthetic rubber characteristics and performance

Leave a message

advantage

Synthetic rubber materials have excellent heat resistance, cold resistance, corrosion resistance and are less affected by environmental factors. Synthetic rubber materials can be used normally between 60 degrees and 250 degrees.

Disadvantage

The main disadvantage is that its tensile effect is relatively poor, and the tear strength and mechanical properties are also poor. Therefore, in the production of rubber boots, it is not possible to directly use synthetic rubber, and it is necessary to cooperate with various elements and processes to achieve various performances of rubber boots.

Physical properties

Its performance varies from monomer to monomer, and the performance of a few varieties is similar to that of natural rubber. Some synthetic rubbers have superior temperature, abrasion resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance or oil resistance to natural rubber.

Chemical properties

Synthetic rubber is a variety of polymer compounds which are polymerized by different monomers under the action of an initiator. The monomers include butadiene, styrene, acrylonitrile, isobutylene, chloroprene and the like. The polymerization process includes emulsion polymerization, solution polymerization, suspension polymerization, and bulk polymerization.
