(1) Toe protection shoes. Mainly to prevent objects from hurting the feet and toes. Such as rolling drums when carrying heavy loads or loading and unloading materials, heavy pipes hitting the feet or inadvertently kicking sharp metal plates. The front head of the shoe is lined with a metal material with good impact resistance, high strength and light weight. Its strength and impact resistance should be tested and the standard can be used. Be careful to choose safety shoes of different strengths according to the weight of the work.

 

(2) Insulated shoes. The role of insulated shoes is to minimize the risk of electric shock. Because the current flows into the ground through the human body through the contact point when the electric shock is applied, not only the insulated gloves but also the insulated shoes are required for electrical work. According to the pressure range, there are several kinds of insulated shoes of 20kV, 6kV and 5kV, which must be selected according to the working range. Insulated shoes should be inspected and maintained frequently. If they are wet or worn, they will not be protected.

 

(3) Anti-static and conductive shoes. Anti-static shoes are suitable for preventing accidents caused by static electricity in the human body, and avoiding accidental electric shock to the human body caused by 220V power frequency capacitor equipment. Conductive shoes are used in places where fire or explosion may occur that is more sensitive to human static electricity. Some of these shoes are safety shoes and rubber shoes with anti-static or conductive soles. The whole shoe does not use metal to reduce the possibility of friction and fire. The shoe is tested for resistance from the beginning. It is then periodically tested to ensure that the maximum resistance of the shoe does not exceed the allowable value.

 

(4) Steelmaking shoes and shoe covers. These shoes are also called caster shoes, mainly to prevent the burning of the feet. These shoes are resistant to pressure and are not easy to burn. The upper is made of oil-impregnated cowhide and canvas-inlaid leather. The soles are made of tire-lined cow leather. In order to prevent the scalding of molten metal splashing liquid, the high waist is easy to take off. The shoe cover and the trouser legs can also be covered with a shoe cover, and the shoe cover is mostly made of canvas, asbestos and aluminum film.

 

(5) Rubber boots. According to its use, it has anti-acid boots, waterproof boots and oil-proof shoes. The acid-proof and alkali-resistant boots are suitable for the place where the ground has acid and alkali and other corrosive liquids. They are made of acid and alkali resistant rubber, and also have anti-acid and alkali pants boots with pants and boots. The waterproof boots are used for ground water or splashing. The basic materials are rubber, miner waterproof boots, special boots for aquatic products, and transplanted boots. The oil-proof shoes are used for oily work on the ground, made of rubber or polyethylene plastic, and have boots and shoes.

 

(6) Cold-proof shoes. It is suitable for wearing in cold and low temperature environment. It has cotton shoes, fur boots and felt boots, etc. It has good thermal insulation performance.
