Anti-static shoes are protective shoes that can eliminate the static electricity accumulation of the human body and prevent the power supply from tapping below 250V. The conductive shoes have good electrical conductivity and can eliminate the static electricity accumulation in the human body in a short time, and can only be used for protective shoes in places where there is no danger of electric shock.
All kinds of anti-static shoes and conductive shoes should meet the requirements of GB21146-2007 "Personal Protective Equipment Professional Shoes".
Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes can be divided into:
1. Rubber material outsole shoes;
2. Polymer material outsole shoes;
3. Rubber material outsole cloth shoes;
4. Polymer material outsole cloth shoes;
5. All rubber material shoes;
6. Fully polymeric materials shoes.
Technical requirements for antistatic and conductive properties:
1) Anti-static shoe resistance value: 100KΩ~1000MΩ.
2) Conductive shoe resistance value: ≤100KΩ.
Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes general performance
The general properties of antistatic shoes and conductive shoes, such as the folding resistance, abrasion resistance, tear strength, leakproofness, etc. of shoes, are the same as those for protecting toe safety (protective) shoes (boots).
Use and precautions:
1. Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes have the function of eliminating static electricity accumulation in the human body and can be used in flammable and explosive working places. However, the difference between the two shoes is that the anti-static shoes can also prevent electric shock from power devices below 250V, while the conductive shoes cannot be used in places with electric shock hazards.
2. Although anti-static shoes have the function of preventing electric shock, they are not allowed to be used as insulated shoes.
3. Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes shall not have insulating parts between the inner bottom of the shoes and the wearer's feet when worn. If there is an insole between the insole and the foot, the resistance of the shoe and insole combination should be checked.
4. The resistance of such shoes can vary significantly due to flexing, contamination or moisture. If worn under wet conditions, the shoe will not perform its intended function. Therefore, in the wearing process, generally not more than 200h should be tested for the resistance value of the shoe; if the resistance is not within the specified range. It cannot be used as an anti-static or conductive shoe.
5. If the shoe is worn in a place where the sole material is contaminated, the wearer should check the resistance value of the shoe before entering the danger zone.
6. The place where the anti-static shoes are used should be an anti-static floor, where the conductive shoes are used to make the floor conductive.
7. Anti-static shoes should be used with anti-static clothing.
